The website is empty and not updated… Very disappointed with the progress of the site… Please do better than the previous GACC not worse…

I agree with above statment
pretty poor organization regarding details of tournament especially the magnitude/significance of this tournament.Surely it would be so hard to put up a half decent website. Also very hard to find about past GACC tournaments it’s like it does exist on the internet. I hope that the management/organisers can do something about this. I understand that UM is organising but surely u can get some from the MCF or something or even some of the numerous chess bloggers to help out…Well i guess it’s kinda late now since the tourney is not so far away. Just something to note/improve for future GACC tournaments..THANKS

Thanks a lot for the feedbacks. Actually I’m starting from scratch with limited data and information from previous years. I’m trying my best here to set a foundation so that the data from the previous GACC can be maintained in the future.

Most of the photos uploaded on the website are last year’s photos. Where are the photos for this year? GACC “World Varsity” tournament? So many local players and not many foreign players, still call it “world varsity” event? Sounds like Malaysian Varsity chess championship. The organization is really very poor and lousy.

to see more pic, can also go to http://stonemaster.info/category/gacc/
more photos will be uploaded after the tourney ends

Seems like lesser and lesser of Foreign players play in the GACC. Hope that GACC in the future can do even better. The GACC Selection too, should be made earlier around August so that the chosen one to participate will be able to adjust their timetable in November. The selection was made too late.
This web too. Need some adjustment to the design, updates. If there is an update as to some annotations to certain games on each round, that would be nice. Some introductions of the team. Just like Khanty’s Tournament that is going one.
